BozWeld was founded in 1989 by Dan Bossow—known to many as "Boz"—with nothing more than a chalk pencil, pliers, and a tape measure. What started as a small welding repair shop has grown into a trusted name in agricultural welding and manufacturing.
In 1991, Dan designed the BOZ-BLO, a custom solution to help feedlots clean out their bunks during tough winter months. This innovative product marked the start of Bozweld’s growth into providing high-performance feedlot and farm equipment.
Dan credits Bozweld’s success to loyal customers, the local community, and a dedicated team that shares his passion for delivering quality work. For him, business sustainability isn’t just about growth—it’s about giving back, passing on his knowledge to the next generation of welders and manufacturers, and building something that lasts.
He was instrumental in founding Thunder by the River, an annual super national tractor pull in Wisner, Nebraska, that continues to benefit the local ag community.
After 35 years, Dan remains passionate about supporting the farming community—and he’ll keep doing things the BOZ way.
